I asked first about size. But I got wrong answer. This is very big size either other companies.
After my last purchase, I now own every color, 3 pair of the black. I will continue buy this model as long as they make them. I require an inside waist string, so they look professional, and not like sweats. Zippers on the deep pockets is a necessity. I like the zippered ankles make it so it fits tight at the ankle, and don't go under my heels. At 5'7", most training pants are too long for me if they are loose at the ankle. I love these pants. For my job as a trainer, they are perfect for me.
I like the light weight with mesh lining, helps keep me cool. Appreciate these not being tapered at the distal end to the point of constantly hugging my calves.
These pants are definitely a throwback to wind pants from the 90s. Extremely disappointed with all the advances in technology and this is a product that UA puts out there. I have several other "loose" style workout pants from UA, but these are so baggy (e.g., MC hammer style). Received as a gift and UA offers no exchange ability without returning to the original purchaser, which is super inconvenient on top of a poor product.
The waist and seat run a bit small compared to the size guide
Along with the VITAL pants, I could wear these every day. Replaced my everyday jeans.
I like the feel of the pants, but out of the bag they were tight when pulled up over the hips. Bearable after that however.
My wife got two pairs of these for me early last year. They are quite literally the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. I'm 5'7" with a 30" inseam and normally wear a 34/36 in pants. I have since gotten more with most being large but medium fits fine also. All are black, of course. They are extremely durable and look as if they were purchased a couple weeks ago. Amazingly enough, they area comfortably cool to wear in the summer heat and as long as I'm not planning on being out in the elements for an extended period of time, work equally well for me in the dead of winter. Speaking of the elements, they repel water and every beverage that has ever come into contact with them.
Most, if not all Under Armour apparel I have experience with is of a higher quality than most other brands and the Woven Sportstyle pants are no exception. UA has incorporated many details into them that aren't very common, not as many in the same item, at least. Details such as the water repelling fabric, the mesh lining, zippered pockets, and zippered tapered leg openings. Normally I avoid zippers. I've never had a single issue with any of the zippers on any of these pants, ever.
They probably cost a few dollars over the average of similar type pants but well worth it to me considering how durable and comfortable they are and also the high level of quality built into the Sportstyles. While I would prefer to include at least one con in this review, I honestly can not.
I literally wear a pair of these 6 days out of the week on average. The one other day what pants do I wear you might ask, why pants aren't necessary to slum around the condo in a pair of UA boxer/breifs.
Size guide recommended that for my waist 36 and height, I should order xl. The pants are too baggy and too short. The fabric looks like it could be a good pant for my needs - a good workout pant. But the fit is just awful. I ordered 4 styles to see which would fit; the only one that might for is the tall size, which I’m ordering on large tall hoping it will be a better fit and long enough.
XXL SIZE HAS A VERY SHALLOW SEAT DEPTH... AND IS NOT REALLY XXL AT ALL.
