Been really into the UA Recover line, owning the Coldgear Tactical compression, and the Recover Shirt. Just got this last night for Christmas and like it.
Other reviews were accurate - runs extremely small so go a size up. It takes awhile to properly fit versus my other two shirts with the Recover technology, so take your time. Another reviewer got rips under his arm, and I can see why. Work your way to the proper fit and make sure you pull the arm sleeves all the way to your arm pit and remove excess play. It's not made as a second layer. It's compression for rest.
My back was a little off the other night and wore it in bed for a few hours till I felt the compression was too much. Woke up this AM with one of the best recovery scores and nocturnal HRV readings I have had for awhile.
I definitely see myself utilizing this in my recovery regimen after extreme back days at the gym. Too pricey, so lucky I got it as a gift.
Very comfortable material and compression is nice. I noticed a difference the next day; my muscles felt loose and less sore. The only problem that I have experienced is after wearing it a few times, I noticed small tears at the under arm...
First thing to know, have someone help put this on lol. I wear medium, so I got a large because this is one of the tightest compression UA has. I wear this after heavy weight lifting, it feels as if my muscles are losing the bulky look to them as the shirt compression on it. But I also feel like air running through me,(was told it’s my blood circulation). So at the end do I feel recovered? Yes and ready for more the next day. Extra person for helping put on and take off for me makes me feel better about not ripping the shirt or stretching the fabric.
