I always buy UA sneakers at Retail stores. First time buying on line. I know my size. But unfortunately, this sneaker runs a bit small. It’s snug on my foot. Next time I’ll go up a size to get a better comfortable shoe. However, I do like how it interacts with my phone app. Definitely a plus there.
I'm getting back into running and needed a new pair or shoes. I bought these because the reviews were good. And the shoes are really comfy. I've put 22 miles on them so far. My longest run was an hour and these shoes are very comfy. I highly encourage you to try a pair on to find the right size for you.
I have tried many different shoes, but these are one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have run in. Only reason that I am giving a 1 star is due to the information that it gives you through the Map my Run app. I do like the information they provide with one exception. The shoe is adding mileage to my runs that I don't believe is correct. I have many routes that I have been running for years with a couple of different apps that are within 0.01-0.05 miles of each other on distance. The shoes added a half mile to my last run. I am currently only running around 25 miles a week, but would not recommend these shoes. You can get a much more comfortable shoe for the price elsewhere.
I wore the UA HOVR Infinite for the 2019 Marine Corps Marathon and it performed extremely well. I like that it is a "neutral" shoe, which is what I needed to address my running form and mitigate IT Band pain.
Great running shoes. Good aesthetics. Took a while to be broken in compared to my UA Charged Bandit 3.
Although i have only worn them a few times, so far they feel pretty good. I have flat feet, and these shoes are wide enough for me
Good design shoe for runner, Bluetooth doesn't function in my shoe.. was expecting a lighter weight.
Every other time I’ve purchased running shoes I’ve gone the cheaper route because I’m not a huge runner so I didn’t want the big investment. They’ve always been disappointing, either blowing out too early or not being as comfortable as advertised.
These shoes are the complete opposite. Literally feels like you’re running on air and I LOVE the smart feature, connecting with the UA app. Great for measuring performance. These shoes are well worth the money!
The shoes is great. Improved my running performance. The sensor monitors the sliding length and that is helpful to my technique.
However, despite the accurate shoe size, the toes are squeezed in the front part during running. I’ve tried with a thicker socks or tightening the shoelace. My feet would be sliding in a bigger sized shoes, and uncomfortable in a smaller size.
If not because of the discounted price, I doubt I would get it. I was generally intrigued by the advertised ‘best performance shoes’, and the sensor
Overall, I would recommend it. I have been using it almost everyday. But put them on and walk a few steps first before buying.
I bought a pair of HOVR Infinite's early last spring as I had been on the hunt for a better shoe. As a long time distance runner and a wearer of several brands I have had some recent injuries over the last few years. Out for a month, out for 3 months that turned into 6. After so many injuries I thought I would just hang up my running shoes. 5 years and 40+ lbs. later and I needed to do something. My injuries were almost always related to my lower body and I thought if I could find a shoe with more support maybe I could get back on the road. In arrives the HOVR Infinite last spring and now is as good a time as any. Starting with low mileage in March and slowly, slowly increasing it every month I finally found a shoe that had the support I was looking for and honestly has kept me injury free (knock on wood).
The shoe itself is a little heavy. I don't mind this in a training shoe and again I am after a consistent weekly mileage that is based more on how many miles than how fast are the miles. The size is true too as I wear a 12.5 in most shoes and the Infinite's are the same. In my mid 50's now and I don't have the speed of my younger days when I could take off training at 6, 7, and 8 min miles. My 8, 9, and 10's are now the norm and I am OK with that as I've lost 20 of the 40 I gained from my peak running days and I believe the shoes are the main reason I'm still on the road. In days of old I can't tell you how many times I'd change shoe manufacturers after wearing out a pair just to try something new. Not today. After a few hundred miles on my first pair, I ordered another pair. Guess what though, they are a different color....LOL
